TINA VOLLMER
I have officially been with Bud Polley’s Floor Center since 1986, but since I grew up in my Dad’s business, I can’t remember a time when I haven’t been a part of the business. I officially started out as a receptionist in our family business and moved on from there to handle Account Management and Bookkeeping.
Later, I moved into Sales as a Flooring Design Consultant. Now I handle a multitude of duties including Human Resources, Accounting (RFMS flooring software), Design Consultation, Business Administration and Marketing. I am also the Official Spokesperson for Bud Polley’s Floor Center. (See my latest Tv commercial) Ours is a true story of achieving the American Dream. Through hard work and perseverance as a family, we have built a business that reflects our family values and provides us all a living, as well as allowing us to be a part of and help others in our community. It is so much fun helping families love and enjoy their homes . . . and to me that’s a pretty special thing.

I was raised by an extroverted Mother and an introverted Father. I took after my Mother. Sales and sales management has always been my desired career path. I really enjoy working with and around other people.
My Dad was a flooring installer so I grew up around it. When the time came for me to “get to work” it was a natural move for me to go into the flooring business. However, unlike Dad I wanted to work in sales, management and estimating as opposed to installing.
I started as Sales Manager in a small “Mom and Pop” carpet store and then moved on to a large residential commercial flooring store. After several years I entered into the wholesale field working as a Territory Rep for an Armstrong Flooring distributor. Although it was a different type of selling it still gave me the opportunity to work with other people, primarily flooring dealers.
One of those was Bud Polley who I had known for awhile. We always enjoyed talking about the business and struck up a friendship. So when Bud asked if I’d be interested in coming to work for him I decided that would be something I would enjoy. I’m still enjoying it 24 years later!

Jeff Vollmer is Bud Polley’s son-in-law, married to Tina Vollmer. Jeff is very involved in working directly with residential customers to make sure they are completely satisfied with their purchase and installation. Jeff also does a great deal of work with our commercial customers. If you have questions about your installation, Jeff will be happy to help you out.
